The Italian company MV Augusta had introduced the Brutale range back in 2013, where they developed four Brutales. The 800 Brutale range are three cylinders and include the Rosso, the RR and the RR SCS. They also have added to the range a four-cylinder 1000 RR. When the range was introduced into the motorcycle world, the iconic sports naked motorbike rocked as it was launched back in the day.
This Great looking naked bike first introduced in 2013. A triple-cylinder 798cc 125 bhp 2014 ABS added to the motorbike.
The Brutale range included the Dragster, a street fighter, matt grey or white paint job and different styling than the standard Brutale.
Brutale 800 RR developed 2015 power up to 140bhp and Mazzochi inverted forks that were gold in colour. Racing brakes fitted having more of an effect on stopping power. This new looking machine with the triple exhaust that is in line vertically really stands out in the crowd. The Brutale was produced in a bronze colour. A quickshifter was added, and engine tweaks for more power.
2020 Brutale Updates
In 2020 MV Agusta added the SCS system which is a simple clutch system that allowed the rider to manually use the clutch or enable the electronics to do it for you. The rider can engage gear at a standstill with idle revs and engage the first gear without the use of the clutch and able to pull away by just opening the throttle.
The Brutale RC is now up to 150 horsepower by altering the exhaust system and the Brutale Rosso now comes with a new skid guard added, but the machine is now detuned to 110 hp to meet the emissions.
Brutale 1000RR This is the four-cylinder version. It has 998cc, which produces a massive punching 208bhp. The technology is derived from F1 and has out of this world performance. The motorbike is capable of a max speed of 186 mph and can get this speed with its record braking acceleration. The 1000RR weighs in at 186kg dry weight. Every attention to detail has been designed into this bike. Aerodynamic wings have been fitted to improve the downforce on the front end to keep it firmly on the floor at high speeds. The engine has been designed with quality in mind. The materials used are the best you can get. For example, it has titanium con rods and low-friction Asso piston rings.
