The Honda CRF250L was first released in 2012 in the dual-sport motorcycle class. A single-cylinder liquid-cooled four-stroke DOHC 249 cc engine that met Euro 3 specification. An on-road off-road machine that is suitable for the A2 licence holder.
It is styled directly from the world of motocross. The motorbike is suitable for all riders, new or old, no matter what you want to use it for, it has the capabilities to conquer all. The racy look of the motorbike has been copied and pasted from the big brother CRF450R.
In 2017, Honda launched the Rally version of the CRF250. This Honda's dual-purpose, adventure style motorcycle. A considerable upgrade for a little bit more money. The design was copied from the HRC CRF450 Rally Dakar. The bike is a great all-rounder. The Rally has even been ridden around the world by several adventure riders with minimal issues. The bike itself proved it was more than strong enough to take what the word and its varied terrain could throw at it. The CRF250L Rally incorporated longer travel suspension, a front wind deflector screen, a bigger fuel tank, more prominent front brake disks and an LED headlight.
Honda CRF250 Updates
2017 Honda updated the CRF powering up to 24bhp. Honda has produced the dual purpose Enduro style motorcycle, and it has ABS that is switchable. It complies fully with Euro 4 standards. With a new design on the fork covers. A trendy new dash with a fuel gauge and much-needed rev counter. Some new tricks are being added to machines these days. One of the later developments the 250 has is the primary balance shaft that reduces the engine vibration. The clutch and gearbox have been upgraded to match the quality of the rest of Hondas components, so it will cope better when the off-road ride is called upon. The swingarm is lighter than most. It incorporates a monoblock casting that provides rigidly and balance for the rider.
2021 Honda announced that the CRF250L and the CRF250 Rally to be replaced by The CRF300L and the CRF300 Rally. We will be reviewing this bike as soon as we can get our hands on one.
