The European giant BMW launched the F850GS in 2018 to superseed the earlier and brilliant model, the F800GS. With a newly designed parallel-twin engine along with a redesigned transmission, the new BMW F850GS is a thing of beauty. The new concept chassis allowed BMW to throw a touch of contemporary styling on top. The technology is much improved from the earlier model and should be top of your list when looking for a new adventure bike.
The F850GS's increase of 55cc boosts the horsepower to a respectable 95BHP. Most noticeably, the chain drive has been moved over to the motorbike's left and driven by a new 6-speed gearbox. An optional extra quickshifter is avaiable from BMW for a smoother ride and easier ride when travelling long distanaces.
The F850GS Has Off Road Capabilities
As the F850 is designed for off-road and on-road journeys, the Sport variant comes fitted with spoked wheels for added strength when hitting the bumpy stuff. BMW will sell you the optional panniers and lower seat height, making this machine a great all rounder when touring.
