The BMW R1250GS is a premium brand and well-balanced adventure bike. It is an amazingly comfortable touring bike and a great off-road adventurer.

The bike is famously powered by a 1254cc liquid-cooled boxer engine combined with the BMW ShiftCam VVT (variable valve timing) technology, producing 134 bhp that’s a whopping 11 bhp more than its predecessor, the R12500GS.

I found the ‘Hill Start’ assist feature a fantastic addition to riding, not something I have tried before. It has three selectable modes of manual, automatic, or off and can be a game changer on such a heavy bike.
